40 Valley Academy students attended a Winter STEM camp in January at Lake Wenatchee YMCA camp. The camp combined academics with activities, including winter landscape painting, survival skills, and snow structure construction. The four-day camp was funded through grants, donations, and participant fees, and students recorded their experiences in field journals.
