After School Program
The mission of Wenatchee School District After School Programs is to provide students with high quality educational, recreational, cultural and enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom. Our goal is to provide a safe, supervised and enriching environment outside of the regular school day to increase students’ academic achievement, school and community connectedness, physical activity and social/life skills.
The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Program supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. OSPI oversees the administration of the federal grant, Title IV Part B, which funds 21st Century programs for our students. Our 21CCLC programs participate in an annual evaluation. We adhere to district policies and procedures for sharing program evaluation results. Our program reports are available upon request by contacting Program Director, Maura Danforth.

The After School Program (ASP) is an Expanded Learning Program, which is a place for students to have a meal, engage in fun, healthy, safe activities and field trips, attend the Academic Homework Support Center, and attend enrichment classes, all while hanging out with friends!
