Limitless Potential. Real-World Ready

Sexual Health Education

Sexual Health Education

Washington State law requires comprehensive sexual health education in grades K-12.

Wenatchee School District provides age-appropriate instruction designed to help students develop healthy relationships, communicate effectively, make informed decisions about their health, and recognize unsafe situations.

Parent Rights & Involvement

You have the right to:

  • Review all instructional materials
  • Receive advance notice of sexual health instruction
  • Excuse your child from any sexual health lesson

We encourage families to engage in ongoing conversations with their children about values, relationships, and healthy decision-making. Schools and families working together create the strongest foundation for student wellbeing.
