Lead Testing Results and Action Plan Now Available

Wenatchee School District has completed lead testing on every faucet, drinking fountain and bottle filler in our schools and district buildings. We tested 932 outlets, and 87 came back above the state’s school standard of 5 parts per billion. Those fixtures were replaced with lead-free fixtures and retested. Any outlet that still tested above 5 ppb has been removed or posted for handwashing only.

The drinking fountains and bottle fillers students and staff use today have tested at or below 5 ppb.
